Our Detailed Services
PPI – Pre-production Inspections
PPI’s are conducted on-site before starting production and right after the raw materials have been received to check the quality of materials and factory readiness of the prototype.
Often, when working with a new contractor, business owners can be concerned about the fact that existing suppliers may be substituting relatively cheaper supplies. At other times you might have time-critical delivery dates.
WIPI – Work in Progress Inspections
WIPI’s are conducted on-site after approximately 25% of the production has been finished. When continuous production in large quantities is involved, it is crucial that completed items are checked avidly.
From dimensions, barcode verifications, visual checks, drop tests, labeling, functional testing, and other intricacies involved in products produced at large productions that cannot afford any delays.
PSI - Pre-Shipment Inspections
PSI’s are conducted on-site once 100% of the items have been produced or approx. 75% have been packed.
From dimensions, barcode verifications, visual checks, drop tests, labeling, functional testing, and other intricacies involved in products produced, every aspect is thoroughly checked.
The quality of the produced item is verified to ensure it is up to the mark before it is shipped so that one does not pay for unsafe or defective products.
LI- Loading Inspections
LI is conducted at the container site once the produced items are ready to be loaded.
Dimensions, barcode verifications, visual checks, drop tests, labeling, functional testing, and other intricacies involved in products produced are checked thoroughly to note exactly what quality of products are being loaded into the container. It also helps ensure that the suppliers follow all specified loading instructions to make the process safe and efficient.
SI - Sort Inspections
SI’s are conducted to sort out non-defective units from ones that may be defective. The process is executed at distribution centers, factories, warehouses, or wherever the items are stored. It enables one to get an exact count so that they process only with acceptable or approved items.
LI - Landed Inspections
LI’s are conducted to separate items that may have been damaged during transit. It enables to sort acceptable units from the damaged ones to get an exact count and a comprehensive picture.
Typically carried out at distribution warehouses, factories, fabricators, or in fields where the units are, these inspections help ensure that one proceeds and pays for only those items that are approved or acceptable.
